“Guns, Explosions, Bots, Grenades,” Imagine all of this on a CRT monitor and that too 15 years ago, ah, nostalgia. I know. All those words take you back to the good’ol days when you came back from school and when you reached home and go on the computer and play one of the game that to something like CS-GO (COUNTER STRIKE), and what not. 

If we put a little focus on COUNTER STRIKE (launched 2000) by VALVE , NEXON and others , it was developed as a FIRST PERSON PROSPECTIVE (FPP) active shooter game for computers, it  was a great graphically designed game for the time being specially for 1999, early 2000’s ,  and  it might be a shocker that is particular game is still being played after 21 years  by millions each day  and that to for constant 12 or more hours c

Getting scolded for making your house a miniature battle field at 4 in the evening and raging and screaming for no reason, it was an adrenaline rush as is it was something unique and intriguing and never seen before in that time,

This particular game plays an important role in the entirety of the gamming community that deals with shooter \ AI interface for example

 and what not, we can say that this game initiated the beginning of a whole era or shooter games and AI games

So, A little about the game PC’s its basic idea was 10 people having an online game that was to be 5v5 ,2 groups terrorists and anti-terrorists, where the terrorists have to plant a bomb which either has to be dis armed by the antis or all the terrorists have to killed and had several maps to play on like DUST ll, SHORT DUST, NUKETOWN etc, this game also offered a lot of options regarding the arms like

Famas

 AK-47

 Desert eagle(Deagle)

PP-Bizon 

Knifes 

 shotguns etc,   

You can still play this game on several platforms like XBOX, XBOX360, macOS, LINUX, MICROSOFT WINDOWS, AND PLAYSTATION 3 , and it received its last updates \ sequel in 2012 and was named COUNTER-STRIKE : GLOBAL OFFENSIVE  , ON AUGUST 21 in 2012.

there is still a number of people play older versions of the rather than the latest CS-GO, and i guess the reason being the memories and the nostalgia.

To be accurate the game blew up in 2003 , when valve took over and launched a very popular map called the DUST II , and  it was the version 1.5 which intoduced more items like the new tactical sheild and the new crosshair interface , that was the last major update before the launch of COUNTER-STRIK,E GLOBAL OFFENSIVE , IN 2012, 

the game gained more fame when CS-GO was launched and various tournaments were taking place with prize pool and several gifts .

and and overall it gave a spark to the the gamming  industry
